Together with Arnhem based modern dance group Dansstorm Oost, I made the interdisciplinary dance performance 'Ik ben ik'. ( I am me )
Three dancers dance and I make drawings on an iPad, which are projected on a large screen at the back of the stage.
It's a performance for children in the ages between 10 and 14 and we'll be performing it at primary and secondary schools in Holland next year.
The premiere is on March the 22, in Arnhem and you're invited!!!
If you want to come, just let me know and I'll send you the details!

My second shirt is for sale!!!!
This time, it shows Sonsbeek Park in the shape of a heart.
The image is printed on the place of your heart.
The title is I love Sonsbeek.
The shirt is part of the Arnhem shirts collection.
Again, the shirt are made from 100% organic cotton and in an edition of 100 pieces.
You can buy them at the Okimono store in the Fashion District in Arnhem or simply at my webshop!

Yesterday, I made this drawing for Lotte's birthday. She dropped water on it which made stains. Today I fixed it!

My first classes work on a peace poster, so I made this hippy-chick. I gave her to Jordy because his arm is broken.

This drawing called "three crazy girls" I made for Naomi, because finally she works so hard!

This romantic lady in floral dress was drawn for Frank, my loud pupil.

My very best and oldest friend Saskia asked me to draw her a heart. Without knowing why, I drew one and she loved it. Later that day, she called me to tell me that she made a tattoo out of it, on her left upper leg! This makes her the first person on earth with an Elmar-tattoo!!! I'm so honored! Saskia asked the tattoo-lady to make an exact copy of the heart I drew, to keep it an original! I love that!

LOVE FASHION HATE SWEATSHOPS

Today I will be on the boat of the Awearness Fair Fashion Event, drawing to raise money for LOVE FASHION HATE SWEATSHOPS, a campaign originated by War on Want. I'll be making drawings for everybody who donates any amount of money.

War on Want is leading the biggest ever call for the government to regulate companies and put an end to the exploitation of overseas workers. They are are asking people to add their faces, names and voices to the campaign against sweatshops. The aim is to have 50,000 people join the call for immediate government action. It's an ambitious goal, but together we can bring an end to sweatshops.

Today was a great day!
It was a sunny day on the deck of a beautiful boat, and I raised quite a lot of money for LOVE FASHION HATE SWEATSHOPS.
I got to meet some very lovely people and to my surprise, met some people I haven't seen in years! That was nice!
Here are some pictures:

This is Seppe with the drawing I made for him. He's five years old.
I asked him about how a girl should look, and he said: "Long hair, long legs and high heels!" Hahaha hilarious!!

The Fashion Night at Okimono was GREEAAAT!!!
Thanks to everybody who bought my shirt, to the Okimono-crew, to everybody who dropped by and especially to all my friends and students!
